Il Grillo del Lago

Origin and vineyard

Grillo del Lago is made from Grillo grapes grown in the Lago Arancio vineyard, approximately 320 meters above sea level. Production is approximately 60 quintals per hectare, and the harvest takes place between September 10th and 15th.

Winemaking

Vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks, with a 12-day maceration designed to enhance the structure, freshness, and aromatic intensity of the grapes.

Organoleptic characteristics

With an alcohol content of 14% vol., it has a bright straw yellow color. On the nose, it releases aromas of fresh fruit and wild flowers. On the palate, it is refined, harmonious, and characterized by a long, persistent finish.

Food pairings

It pairs particularly well with fish-based pasta dishes. Ideal with ancient wheat spaghetti with red mullet ragù, yellow tomato, black lime powder, and toasted almond flakes.
